Welcome to Fauna Place Early Education Centre, Kirrawee! Situated in the heart of Kirrawee, off President Avenue, our centre offers a private and convenient location for families. With the Kirrawee train station and commuter car park nearby, dropping off and picking up your children has never been easier.
Our central location also allows us to take advantage of numerous local excursions and experiences, enriching your child's learning journey. At our centre, we believe that learning happens both indoors and outdoors. That's why our state-of-the-art playground is designed as an outdoor classroom, where children can engage in active play and develop important skills such as social interaction, imagination, gross motor skills, and expressive language.
In our playground, children can explore our climbing structure, slide, and wooden teepee. They can also enjoy riding trikes along our bike track, indulge in imaginative play in the sandpit and mud kitchen, and participate in art experiences and mealtimes on our covered deck, regardless of the weather.
Led by our experienced Centre Director, who has over 20 years of experience and a deep understanding of learning theories and children's curriculum, our team is dedicated to preparing your child for school. Our holistic program focuses on promoting confidence, independence, and active learning, ensuring a successful start to kindergarten.
At Fauna Place, we pride ourselves on our nurturing and dedicated early childhood professionals. With a smaller number of enrolled children, we can provide individualized support to meet each child's unique needs and goals. We believe that close communication and collaboration with parents are vital to our philosophy, and we work closely with families to create a nurturing and supportive environment.

"For the last 3 1/2 years, I've had the great joy to have my daughters in care at Fauna. They have been so incredibly well cared for, with some wonderful educators that truly care because they evidently love what they do. I could name them all because they really are remarkable. I love getting our little daily photo updates that help facilitate conversations with my girls about what they've learnt or who they've played with. I have always felt listened to and that my girls were safe and happy, which as a mum is what I treasure most. They also have wonderful (and friendly) cooks that have a lovely menu that has helped my fussy kids to explore food with their peers. The last couple years have been a challenge for everyone but the way the council and the director Kristin have navigated it all has helped calm many of my anxieties and keep everyone safe. They have continued to give great care throughout and it's so wonderful to be able to come back inside the centre and see the educators face to face. We originally chose Fauna Place because it was closeby and a more affordable centre, but it's been so much more. And we're so grateful to the amazing team behind it all (that get along so well) and take such good care of our precious little people."
"My daughter has attended Fauna Place for over three years, since she was 18 months old. We have been delighted with the care and education she has received there. There is a stable and consistent staff, led by the extraordinarily capable and attentive director. I always feel comfortable and secure leaving my child at Fauna Place as I know she will have fun with her friends and educators, but also that she will be supported in her learning and her emotional needs. Last year, my daughter was diagnosed with some serious health issues which require on-going management, including support at daycare. My appreciation for the educators at Fauna Place and their commitment to caring for my daughter has only grown since then, seeing their dedication in learning how to meet her health needs and supporting her through this time. "Both my daughters attended Fauna Place, one has now moved onto primary school. Moving to the area 3 years ago I was nervous about starting the search for a new daycare centre but after only a few short weeks I knew we had made the right decision in choosing Fauna place. The centre is very well run and professional. Kristen is a fantastic Director and 100% across everything that goes on there. The staff are all pleasant and the environment is a very happy one. I have arrived at various times throughout the day over the last 3 years and have always been amazed at how happy the children are. The centre has recently been painted and the backyard has had a total transformation, my daughter is so excited to play there each day, my school going daughter is very jealous. I would definitely recommend Fauna place, great location, great staff, lovely facilities and value for money."
