"Fabulous destination store. Something for everyone! What's not to love about Ikea!"
"IKEA complain This is The first bad experience at IKEA Richmond in the last 10 years. Your customer service at Richmond is warm and nice in the most of the days when we visit IKEA Richmond. We came in with our shopping list happily and left with satisfaction in the last. Today, 18th of August, around 3:45PM. I came in to the kitchen area to order food. When I compared the “Plant balls” dish and the “Swedish meatballs” dish, it has exactly the same setup from the look of it. I ask the young Asian staff, is this the right serve for my order? He’s said Yes. I said:” It looks exactly the same to me.” He turned him back to me immediately with rolling eyes and said “OK”. That “OK” made me feel his impatience instantly and seems to being annoyed by this one question. This is a normal question when a customer who orders a new dish. You can explain with patience to make sure customers understood, instead of presenting your level customer service in such a low standard, which is shockingly to see it in IKEA. I would love to get your attentions on the customer service training in the kitchen area, to prevent similarly experiences happened on different customers from one untrained staff. Wishing IKEA Richmond all the best, and looking forward to hearing your solutions and thoughts on the above. Cheers"
"EDIT: Cafeteria is open again. Always good value. Stocks are a bit hit and miss. Be prepared to walk a mile, as they love to take you through the whole store. Don't forget the cafe upstairs. EDIT: Still going strong! Take the 109 Tram"
"Horrible products, horrible service. The stuff is so cheap and nasty it's liable to cause serious injury. Purchased 5 products and had to return 4 due to faults, broken parts, and systems being not fit for use. Only reason the 5th one worked, (PAX wardrobe) was due to significant modifications. (It also had three broken parts, and I couldn't be bothered taking it apart). We had to omit the sliding doors as the weight of the doors (same as the KUNGSBACKA hinged doors) was pulling out the chipboard on the top and sides where the screws were every time it moved. Also will destory your hand if it gets caught. Had to get replacement parts for it too. These never arrived so I made other modifications. Clearly no testing or QA was performed. By far the worst of all is the METOD suspension rail. The only mounts the METOD cabinets have are on the rear and for this rail. The attacments provided make a lot of movement and the brackets that attach onto the rail are secured by 3 close together screws. You can see (and hear) these crack and split the chipboard each time as it cannot even handle the weight of opening the door. If you want your cabinets to collapse and kill your children, use it! Ikea takes no responsibilty for it's actions or products. You are whisked around from department to department like cattle in corrals. They constantly encourage me to go into the store. Its a two hour drive away and the store is a retail prison. Ikea is a nightmare that will last far longer than any of it's products."
"Awesome location to shop. You need one hour or more, to explore the great selection. The information provided on tags aid with the ease of locations of products in storage. Thank you."
