Since opening our doors in 1988, Kariong Child Care Centre has been an integral part of the local community. We firmly believe that early childhood education is the most influential stage for a child's learning and development. Our experienced and qualified staff work closely with parents to create a familiar and supportive routine for their children, while providing a learning environment that builds success for life.

At Kariong Child Care Centre, we embrace the philosophy of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which emphasizes engaging and effective learning experiences for all children. We understand and embrace our dual role of nurturing and educating each child. Our warm and secure environment fosters secure relationships and offers stimulating activities that encourage growth and development.

With a license to cater for 39 children per day, we divide the children into two groups. Our educators work closely with families to ensure a smooth transition between rooms, allowing children to interact with siblings and peers throughout the day. We believe that transitioning to a new room with friends is more beneficial for a child's self-esteem.

Our team of experienced and qualified early childhood educators are dedicated to caring for and educating your child at Kariong Child Care Centre. In the event of educator absences, we employ casual relief educators who are familiar with the responsibilities of caring for and educating children in a long day care setting. These relief educators are carefully selected and added to a relief list, ensuring continuity of care and minimizing disruption to your child's routine.
