Welcome to Cecil Hills Early Education and Care Centre, located at Sandringham Drive in Cecil Hills, Australia. As one of the six Early Education and Care Centres run by Liverpool City Council, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality care and education for children at an affordable cost for families.

At Cecil Hills Early Education and Care Centre, we offer a program that provides a range of planned and spontaneous learning experiences for children. Our practices engage, stimulate, and enhance children's learning and development. We believe that learning experiences should emerge from the children's interests, which we identify through staff and family input, as well as through intentional teaching approaches.

Our curriculum planning is based on the National Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which guides the development of a program for each child. This framework enhances their learning and development from birth to five years and supports their transition to school.

Our philosophy is strongly guided by curriculum frameworks such as the Early Years Learning Framework, Reggio Emilia theories, and Emergent Curriculum approaches. We are passionate advocates for high-quality early childhood care and education, and we strive to create rich, multifaceted relationships with children, families, and the community. This allows us to provide a high-quality early childhood program that is real and relevant to children's personal experiences and cultural backgrounds.

We are also committed to sustainability, climate change, and biodiversity. We aim to create environments that allow children to understand the importance of natural materials. Our focus on environmental education develops skills, knowledge, and values that support a sustainable environment. We provide real items for children to use during playtime and encourage them to take care of our environment and its resources.

In partnership with Council's sustainability education officer, we deliver the "Growing Green Thumbs" project, which supports environmental education and encourages children to inform their families about sustainability. We also participate in initiatives such as Clean Up Australia, National Tree Day, Earth Hour, and National Recycling Week.
