"The 1st time i went last wekend, the service was gracious and the Lamb kabseh especially...just amazing. Good portion sizes as well for thr price. I then booked for 10 people for my birthday. We ordered the same lamb kabseh and a friend said he would like a larger serve as he wanted to share with his wife. I told him that the portions were decent and the owner said not to worry and he will ensure all the serves will be large. Another friend was vegetarian so the Owner said he can just give her the rice from the kabseh with Tabouleh instead. Not once did he say any implications for prices and made it sound like he was happy to make the adjustment. The kabseh was nice but was missing all the raisins that was in the serve on the weekend. It was the exact same size as what I had earlier last weekend. However, the prices on the bill changed to $28 for everyone instead of $24 as per the menu, including for my friend who just got the rice. He charged her $28 and added $14 extra for the tabouleh for her. Then he said its all per the menu for large, even though the menu had only 1 price. I insisted that this size was the same as last time which was off the menu and only 1 person had asked for a large, which wasn't even on the menu, and was the same when served. Also how could he charge for Tabouleh when he replaced it for the lamb! He lied that he gave us large last time because it was my first visit. This was a complete and blatant lie as he didn't know that, and everyone around who had ordered the dish had got the same. Ethics are highly highly questionable. Food was really nice and we would have all loved to go again, but the man who runs the place is extremely dodgy and unethical. He raised his voice and his demeanour became more aggressive when I questioned him. I have not seen anyone change so fast. A lier and a cheat who is disrespectful to the ethics of running a good business. He does grave injustice to the women preparing the food in the kitchen who do a great job. What a shame!"
