"Amazing environment and views, where we enjoyed one of the best degustation menus that we have tried in Australia. We chose the 8 course meal and I tried the Sommeliers pairing, which was excellent. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable. We were lucky to enjoy a beautiful view of the Opera, with the light and drone show. I really recommend the experience."

The standout aspect of the evening was definitely the exceptional service, which deserves high praise. We opted for the 6-course menu with the Quay pairing wine, and I must say that the wines served were delightful. Each wine was carefully selected and perfectly complemented the dishes. The sommelier's expertise was evident, and it added an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall dining experience. The service provided at Quay was truly outstanding. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and took great care in explaining each dish and its ingredients. "Overall experience is good - food meet the standard in terms of taste and creativity. Slightly salty in Asian standard. The abalone dish and the white coral ice cream stood out for the night. They also provide a few complimentary sides which is a nice surprise. A place worth to try for a special day"

"This was possibly the longest tasting menu I have ever experienced. Overall, I was here for 4 hours. Everything was beautifully presented and I loved the focus on local ingredients. The entire team here is so knowledgeable, and accommodating. We wanted a photo of the Sydney opera house and one member of the staff took us to a little known spot outside to capture a photo. However, in terms of food, nothing really stood out as a show stopper. Everything was delicious but there wasn’t a dish I would say you’d HAVE to try that blew our minds. Each dish felt like a variation of something we’ve already had. For the price I was expecting something more memorable taste wise."

"Booked a dinner here, hoping for a great experience and excellent food - as recommended by some friends. Sad to say the least we were very disappointed. After dining at similarly ranked/regarded fine dinings in Sydney we can safely say this was the bottom of the lot. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. In fact, writing this review a week later, I can barely remember what dishes were great. It wasn't a terrible experience, just not memorable. Service felt like it was rehearsed and recited. Didn't feel like that was any passion in its delivery. The same waiter also serves the wine pairings. Sure there was a story behind each wine but again, didn't feel special. The views were fantastic to say the least. Strangely, the toilet paper was single ply (sorry had to comment on this!) Would we return? Probably not. Sad. Was expecting so much more...."
