"Most dishonest people I have come across , I have launch a formal complain against them to department. so I went to fridge and got a can of mountain dew. At the end, I went to counter to pay for a can, I ask a guy behind counter, how much does the can cost. He mentioned $2.50, I have asked him. Can I, pay by card, he said yes, without mentioning to me about any surcharge. So, I had taped my card, when I saw the receipt at credit card machine it was $3.50. I asked him why he didn’t tell me, that there is a surcharge on the card, he laugh and pointed me toward a very small note on the back of the visiting card on the left-hand side of the counter, which nobody can see. That writing is attached. I have told him he should have mentioned to me, so I could have paid by cash. I informed him; I am going to launch a formal complaint regarding this. As this is not fair on the customers."
"Delicious food, especially, Nihari beef with Arabic bread (naan)."
"I should keep this place a secret. The food is authentic, delicious and fresh. Because they cook the food continually to replenish a buffet, there is no waiting - just point to what you like and 2 minutes later you are eating. The best thing is the flat bread, cooked fresh in front of you and eaten warm. It is a small place and the staff are very friendly. My kids aged 10 and 14 (who are Anglo Aussies) love this place and we drive 30 minutes to eat there."
"In general, not that generous in servings. This is the only time I tried Paya with only one “meat”. Pulaw isn’t that bad, but need a little bit of flavour. The place- mirrors is a bit “not cool”. And might do something about the flies flying around the place."
"Was recommended this place by a friend and decided to eat in. The food here was pretty good as it’s freshly made/cooked. We went during the Eid period so it was a bit of a wait but the service provided was decent. The meat was cooked well and the rice and bread were nice too but actual interior of the place is a little outdated and doesn’t seem as clean as you’d desire but enough to be able to eat from. May consider going back for another dish/bread."
