Euroka Children's Centre Blaxland, New South Wales 2774
About the Business
Welcome to Euroka Children's Centre, located in the beautiful Blue Mountains City Council area of New South Wales, Australia. Situated in the vibrant suburb of Blaxland, our establishment is a point of interest that offers a nurturing and educational environment for children.
At Euroka Children's Centre, we proudly acknowledge and respect that our centre is situated on Aboriginal land. The name 'EUROKA' is derived from the local Dharug language, meaning 'Sunny Place'. Inspired by this, our dedicated educators strive to create sunny places and spaces for children, ensuring their experience in our learning environments is filled with warmth, positivity, and growth.
Established in 1985, Euroka Children's Centre is a not-for-profit, community-based long day care centre. We have been serving the local community for over three decades, providing high-quality care and education to children aged between 6 weeks and 6 years. Our experienced team of educators is passionate about your child's development, tailoring their approach to meet the unique needs and interests of each individual.
Operating from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, Euroka Children's Centre offers flexible care options to cater to the diverse schedules of families. With a capacity to accommodate up to 67 children, we ensure a small child-to-educator ratio, allowing for personalized attention and fostering strong relationships between educators, children, and families.
Our learning environments are designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. We provide a range of engaging activities and experiences that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, embedding key concepts such as play-based learning, respect for diversity, and a focus on individual strengths and interests.
At Euroka Children's Centre, we believe in building strong partnerships with families. We value open communication, collaboration, and shared decision-making, ensuring that families are actively involved in their child's learning journey. We also offer regular opportunities for families to engage with the centre through events, workshops, and celebrations.
As a community-based centre, we embrace diversity and inclusion, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for all children and families. We celebrate cultural differences and promote respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, embedding cultural awareness throughout our curriculum.
Choosing Euroka Children's Centre means choosing a place where your child can thrive, grow, and develop essential skills for a bright future. We invite you to visit our centre, meet our passionate educators, and discover the 'Sunny Place' where your child's potential can shine.

"As a parent, I am reassured that my child is in the best of hands; the staff go above and beyond to ensure each little one is cared for and learning to the best of their abilities. Bush kinder and a strong community connection are some of the aspects that make Euroka truly special. We are so lucky we were able to become apart of this community, and the demand is high for a very good reason!"
"Euroka is an amazing centre that my daughter has been thriving at. The approach they take with the children is beautiful and welcoming. We are loving our time at Euroka."
"Euroka's beautiful surroundings is just the start of such a nurturing environment for not only the children but the parents and carers. The loving and caring staff and leadership from the educators and management is always at the forefront of every day we attend. My kids love the Bush Kinder program and the community garden and the large outdoor open space is a gem in the lower blue mountains."
"So thankful to the lovely team at euroka for taking such good care of our little one. They are a service that is truly passionate about not only children but their staff too, happy staff equals happy kids! A beautiful natural space where the kids are free to explore inside and out and learn at their own pace, we love it!"
