"I didn’t want to believe the reviews so I still went and am sad to agree with them. We got the entree corn which was chargrilled but practically cold. The sangria was very basic using cheap red wine. We went early so we’re served food quickly, but despite the restaurant only being a third full it was difficult to call the waitstaff for more drinks or get our dishes taken away, so much that we left early. However! I will say that the chimichanga’s were absolutely delicious!! I would go back just for them!!!!!"
"It was a mixed experience, but skewed heavily towards negative. I give credit to staff being very friendly when they’re actually around you, which was barely and most food was fairly tasty, although not the best I’ve had. It hit the spot but wasn’t amazing. Mediocre food I do not leave reviews for, I live and let live, everyone has different preferences and tastes. But the downfalls really overshadowed the whole night. We booked ahead of time for a fairly big group, maybe 15 people? While the staff were mostly friendly in our presence the service was extremely slow, we already knew to expect a bit slow based on how many people we saw on shift and we had friends at dinner who are in the service industry so started off very understanding but it was beyond that… took forever for them to even take our drink order let alone our food order, it’s like they forgot they had a function upstairs… maybe they did? Besides us there were maybe 8 people in the restaurant in total, we accounted for 2/3 of the patronage and got appalling service, we had to go ask them to serve us after waiting an hour. The absolute worst part that made me want to leave a review for people to see was that my vegetarian friend ordered a vegetarian burrito… 2 bites in and she realises it’s meat. She was very understanding and didn’t want to make a fuss, it was a mistake after all. When she told them there was no apology, no acknowledgment just a shrug of the shoulders and “well how am I supposed to know”. The first time she had meat in 15 years she was so upset and crying not just because of that but because they could not give less of a sh*t. She PAID for a replacement, didn’t ask for compensation nor did they offer to rectify their mistake. You know what came out? Another beef burrito. After they knew they f*cked up her previous order and she reiterated she is vegetarian, they would be blind if they didn’t see the tears in her eyes when she ordered again. She gave up after that and went home hungry and sad af and wasted $50. And they did not care at all. Bare minimum would have been an apology and some manners, didn’t even get that. So all in all: SOME tasty food Extremely poor service Group booking upstairs will be forgotten about Dietary preferences are not paid attention to, god forbid they get someone with allergies. If they screw up they do not give a flying nun’s c*nt"
"First time eating here since covid - I feel they are still running a limited menu , food was fast, hot and fresh.we shared a nachos which they were kind enough to let us pick charizo and slow cooked beef. The fajitas are the bomb with fresh ingredients and the chicken on a sizzling plate.i marked down the atmosphere but it's an unfair rating as we ate early (before 6pm) the variety of hot sauce also has dismissed somewhat - #Bringback the hot sauce selection !!!!"
"Fun Mexican restaurant in Glebe. Atmosphere is understated but trendy and stylish, I really like the locked liquor cabinet and chilli sauce wall. The food tastes like authentic Mexican, with plenty of vegan options. While perhaps not exactly perfect, I still found it enjoyable. Service has always been friendly whenever I have visited. I’d consider it best suited for casual, relaxed dining (not a fine dining or fussy experience) but with this in mind, still suitable for a date or for group dining with family and friends."
"A nicely decorated small restaurant. It's not vibrant, but it's not quiet. The wait staff are almost friendly, but not super enthusiastic. The food itself is great with some wonderfully refreshing vegetarian options that lift, what can sometimes be stodgy, the dishes to a different type of cuisine. I would definitely return to this place but only if I was already in the area. Saying this, I would definitely recommend trying this place - especially if you're a vegetarian."
