"Not quite as expected (we have travelled to Mexico and have had amazing food there). The burritos were stuffed with lots of potato (for $20 ????), tacos $8, one meal was extremely chilli (we asked for corn chips to help have it eaten ... not sure if we were charge $10 for a very small portion with guacamole. The tamale was nice and the atmosphere/service was lovely. Would I go back? Not for what we paid. I think there's better value out there."
"Small Mexican place with friendly and fast service. Ordered the corn chips however the guacamole tasted frozen. The lamb tacos was the pick of the bunch. The lamb burrito was also very tasty but the pick of the lot is the home made salsa very flavourful and right about of spicy"
"Finally found an authentic Mexican style restaurant in Sydney. The environment is so cozy and the service is done with a smile. The Tamales and Tlacoyo are very close to what you get in southern America. Highly recommend the bohemian dark beer as well!"
"Food wasn't much to look at, but was tasty and probably the most authentic tamales you can find in Sydney. Restaurant itself is simple, but the staff were very friendly. Stand out was the Michelada - tangy, but refreshing."
"Not impressed at all. The place is very simple and it does have the vibes of the streets of Mexico. But a clean table and less flies (indoor) would have been nice. Not sure if the person behind the counter was an actual employee or a customer that got stuck there and was to shy to leave. The food was okay but not great. We tried all the vegetarian options available and the burrito was literally a wrap with a steamed potato and black bean. The taco was okay but again, not feeling the urge to go back and have it again."
