Situated in the heart of Sydney's vibrant culinary scene, Muum Maam Barangaroo focuses on using fresh ingredients and seasonal produce to create dishes with traditional flavors and contemporary techniques. Our concept remains the same as our original sister restaurant, Muum Maam Surry Hills (now permanently closed), offering quick Thai street food during the day and casual dining in the evening.

Our dedicated team looks forward to welcoming you and your guests for a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. Inspired by his mother's home cooking, Chef Santo's love affair with food began at a young age. Growing up, his family grew fresh vegetables and herbs in their backyard, instilling in him the importance of using fresh produce.

With over 10 years of experience, Chef Santo has worked in renowned Sydney restaurants, including Longrain in Surry Hills. During his nine-year tenure at Longrain, he worked his way up from entry-level positions to head chef until 2015. He then further honed his skills at China Lane Restaurant and Billy Kwong in Potts Point. To Chef Santo, nothing compares to the aromatic ingredients and harmonious balance of Thai cuisine, which creates its characteristic rich and intense taste.
