"Wanted to try some South Indian food after shopping at Parklea Market. Totally no regrets dropping by this kiosk. We ordered the Tiffin combo and the friendly staff at the counter recommended the Paniyaram. Both were equally good, especially the vada which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chutneys and Sambar accompanying the dishes were of the right amount of heat, full of flavour. We also ordered the Marsala tea which was a nice way to finish. Definitely will be back but this time, we will order less as we struggled to finish. It didn’t look much but was definitely dry filling."
"Had gone multiple restaurants in Sydney and around but always craved for proper Tamil Nadu style dishes with our Sambar and Chutney. Happened to visit this hotel and in couple of months have already tried all their menus. An excellent place to have your tiffen if you want to taste the ultimate. The dosa varieties, Pongal, poori, idly along with authentic Sambar and chutney are ultimate. One never should miss the Sambar vada there. The stand out dish. Finish it with excellent filter coffee, you will definitely have some nostalgic feelings of yesteryear experience back home.. Excellent atmosphere, friendly staffs and good value for the money. Try once and you will definitely come back.."
"I was really impressed with this food joint in Parklea markets! I had just finished a hair and makeup job nearby and hadn't had breakfast yet because of an early start. I was walking around the markets trying to find somewhere to eat and noticed that this place looked the busiest, cleanest and smelled amazing. It was such a professional looking setup compared to some of the other dingy looking food venues. The filter coffee was exactly like I've had in Bangalore - I can't explain how it is different to coffee here but it was amazing. I got the Mysore masala dosa which was pretty decent and the chutneys were really good. The only improvement I can suggest would be more seating because it was absolutely packed with people :)"
"We visited this small outlet today for lunch (weekday) and it was not busy at all. We ordered Mysore masala dosa, vada and filter coffee. Mysore masala dosa was paper-like thin and was crispy, unlike the typical masala dosa, which is thicker and crispy. The dosa was crumbling and was like papad. The red garlic chutney and the potato filling in it was okay. The dosa was served with coconut chutney, ginger chutney and sambar. The ginger chutney was really good. It had the flavour and kick. Coconut chutney on the other hand was bland and had no distinctive taste. Sambar too was boringly plain. Vada, though it was crispy on the outside, from the inside, it was soft and mushy. I didn’t like it at all. Filter coffee was average. Nothing extraordinary. Food - 3/5 Service - N/A"
