"Had been coming here for the past year & loved the food. Recently returned after a few months & noticed there are new owners. Food was alright, but definitely not as good as previously, & many dishes have changed. Food came out slowly & one dish at a time only. Noticed that it was very quiet & definitely not as busy as before. Shame as this was our favourite local Chinese restaurant. Not sure we’ll be ordering again unfortunately."
"They have nice clear wonton soup, authentic flavour and good value for the portion size. Duck is nice, not the super oily type, and the pork was delicious, not too salty. They are more of a restaurant than a bbq shop. A few tables indoors at the front and plenty more further inside. The tea is good. Cheerful service."
"The portion is big and good quality of food. They separate the soup and noodle for take away which is a considerate and smart way to keep the noodle from being too soggy. The roasted duck noodle soup is really good, exactly the same taste as I have in Hong Kong :))) The lunch included drinks as well. Will definitely go back and try other food."

"Hidden gem in the area. Reminds me of home back in Hong Kong. Sweet sour pork is a must try, very crunchy and sauce is perfect. The charsiu bbq pork was amazing and spot on. Meat texture was excellent. The beef fried rice 生炒牛肉飯 tasted amazing. Perfectly seasoned and had lots of wokhay. Even though I don't live near waitara, will definitely be back in the future. Prices were reasonable for the quality served. Compliments to the chef. Staff were very friendly. The tea was amazing too, very hot and good tea leaves selection."
