Reviews
"I am deeply disappointed with the irresponsible customer service. I placed an order for food, and it was never delivered. When I tried to contact they were unhelpful, saying they couldn't do anything about it. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is unacceptable. As a customer, I expect to receive the service I paid for and, if there is an issue, to have it resolved promptly and courteously."
"Felt like I was eating days old food, maybe was frozen and they unfroze as was not hot and tasteless. Went to the bathroom and it looked very grubby dirty walls with children's toys on the floor, childrens writing on the wall. The place looked so unhygienic. Never again going there. Waste of money was expensive."
"We had the delicious Jhol momos and Chatpatte was also surprisingly tasty with the right combination of textures and flavours - the raw peas added a fresh kick. The staff were also super friendly, We really enjoyed everything and will be back for sure. Thank you!"
"Absolutely do not go here, even if you are starving. Make that extra 10 or 15 minute trip to go elsewhere because this service here was terrible, food was extremely average, and it seems that its run by incompetent, deceitful, staff who don’t know what they’re doing. There’s a good reason why restaurant is always place. I came here with my friend during the evening as we were out to get dinner and wanted to try something new. He suggested this random Nepalese place and I reluctantly said yes, since I’m not too familiar with the cuisine, but I told myself what could go wrong. We went in, we were the only ones there besides the lady at the counter. We looked at the menu and had a seat, and when went up to order eventually. We had the butter chicken, rogan josh, steamed chicken momos, and panipuri. The panipuri arrived first, shortly followed by the butter chicken and rice. The panipuri was interesting and new to me, but it was average at best just as the butter chicken was. The rogan josh came next, but it was just the meat. We were so confused and asked about it, to which the lady said it didn’t come with the meal, but it was separate. We were shocked since we paid about $18 for this, and she told us it will be another $4 to get rice. I wish I had contested it but we ended up paying. It was a ridiculously expensive meal for generic Indian food that we could have gotten for around $12 anywhere else. The issue also lies in their blatant lies in the menu, where it said the curries would come with rice, Naan, and a side. I asked the lady about it and she said that there are no naan chefs at the moment, which was honestly blasphemous. We finished our food, and wondered when the momos would arrive. Another lady walked past and she asked if I was okay since I was looking a bit confused. I told her we were waiting on them and she went to check, to which she said it’ll be ready soon. I couldn’t believe her though, and my friend suggested we get a refund and leave since they would have started cooking now since it’s been more than 25 minutes since we ordered, and didn’t want to spend anymore time here. We went to ring the bell and the lady at the counter came from the back, and we asked to get a refund instead of having them cook it. She said she will check and she came back shortly saying it’ll be ready in one minute. 10 minutes go by and she has been hiding away in the kitchen to avoid any contact with us, and when she eventually came out I told her that it’s been 10 minutes, to which she simply laughs at me and does not say anything else. I was pretty infuriated about the entire experience, and when the momos eventually arrive, we left. The experience here was so indescribably bad that I would not recommend this place to anybody. I dont know how this place even had positive ratings, but after how deceitful they have been with the sides, momos, and the missing rice with the curry, it is so obvious that this place is extremely unfit to be open to the public and only sets out to waste people’s time and money."
