"5 Stars for Ivana, best waitress there. Definitely worth more money. Food is great as well."
"Not normally one to give negative reviews - but had to for this one. Firstly upon entering the club the looks we were given at the reception desk and by "security" was less than friendly - yes we were not regulars but maybe that is the reason you don't have a lot of "visitors". We were a party of 4 well dressed and an "older" demographic so would not normally be giving vibes that would cause concern. Not the issue in the restaurant though - all the waiters and staff we were great and very friendly. Hence the only reason I gave 3 stars . The food though was to put it bluntly - poor in both quality and presentation. I would have sacked my chef if they had plated food like that. We ordered 2 servings of a Meze plates for 2. Each serving came with 4 pieces of salame, 3 slices of proscuitto, 4 pieces of what looked like packet cheese sliced in a triangle, 4 olives. And for the 2 orders 4 pieces of bread. We all looked at each other we hope it gets better as that was pathetic for $28/plate. We were wrong. The main courses were a mixed bunch but in the main the fish was overdone and so was the scotch fillet. But it was how they were plated - the chips in a bowl, the potato salad again a small bowl, the garden salad a small bowl. And by small I mean small. Why no pride in presentation - certainly nothing like the photos I saw. Wives ordered dessert - did not eat them - said they were ordinary at best. And this normally never happens elsewhere. Additionally during the meal the "club" ramped up the PA system to make Club announcements - but then left it on for what sounded like advertising - but it was so LOUD, and I'm hard of hearing, that we could not hold a normal conversation - that we had to ask the waitress to turn it down, should not have to happen - So overall would I go back - NEVER - would I recommend it for authentic Croatian food, NO - I'm Croatian by birth and my wife commented that my Mum would have not liked that at all. For me personally it was embarrassing as I was the one that suggested going there just to try authentic Croatian food. Maybe it was an off night. A word of advice to the Club - be more welcoming and maybe you will get NON Croatians to go there - I was last there in the 1970's and you haven't moved on. My guests felt unwanted. But again to the wait staff - thanks for salvaging a bad experience overall. You guys deserve 5*****"
"Located inside the King Tom Club at Edensor Park, this restaurant is very unassuming. I will admit we were sitting inside the club having a drink waiting for our friends to arrive and whilst the restaurant appeared busy the vibe had me concerned. We had made a reservation and the table was organised for us promptly upon arrival. The menu listed a variety of Croatian offerings and not having experienced this cuisine before was looking forward to trying the food. We were not disappointed at all. The food was delicious and the flavours left us wanting more to the point the 4 of us were absolutely full by the nights end. The staff were friendly and helpful and also knowledgeable on all that was being served helping us pronounce the names of the dishes correctly. This restaurant was fantastic and would highly recommend the experience"
"Delicious traditional Croatian food, great daily specials, the only downside is you have to pay for drinks as you go."
