Dandenong Central Apartment Hotel 157 Lonsdale Street, Dandenong, Victoria 3175

"No ph to call down stairs. -Power points lot of them can't put plug in it doesn't let you push all the way in which means appliances don't work. - the kitchen-cutlery , they have one drinking glass, one mug, 3 forks , 1 knife, 1 dessert spoon , 1 teaspoon, no bin in kitchen. - they say have WIFI but they don't. They say ring after hours but can't get anyone. - rooms filthy. No lamps work, the main light starts flashing after about 20 mins. - the bathroom, don't get me started, the bowl all brown rings around it, the shower is disgusting the tiles the floor all filthy and corroded, Cracks in the bowl. The main entrance is very unwelcoming, the girl who served us was not friendly or helpful. - on line it was 140 a night they charge us 179 which we didn't realise till we paid 2 nights ourselves as my husbands work paid the first 2 nights. We booked a studio with 2 rooms couch etc they didn't do that, admittedly the travel agent mucked that up but when I said can we have our upgrade she asked for another 9 dollars and they already over charge 40 a night, you would think they would say after all this mishap a the fact I said how I was not happy with the place , "you know what don't worry about the 9 dollars." This was alittle get away for me and my husband after he had finishedhis work on the fri, and it has been a terrible experience. We have stayed all over the world and not encounter such a place. Took over a month to get our refund as we told them Over 24 hours prior we did not want to stay the weekend. Worst customer service and place I have ever been in. Where can I put pics up to show you."

"Definitely wouldn't recommend. It's dirty and smells. They don't do refunds either so once you pay then say by to your money. It's worth booking here if you get a big discount. Side note: the queen bed was 2 single beds."

"PLEASE think twice before booking! Called to cancel my booking 3 weeks prior to my reservation due to hospital rescheduling my cardiac surgery. Receptionist was quite rude and sounded like she didn’t like her job. The receptionist’s mannerism looks like it has been an ongoing issue as clearly outlined in past reviews. Furthermore the hotel didn’t end up refunding my reservation even though my booking clearly outlined via email confirmation that cancellation is allowed with refund as long as notice is given 24hrs upon arrival. First time ever in my 61 years I've had a fraudulent hotel experience like this."

"The service we received on arrival is well worth 5 stars. She was so friendly and accommodating. The view was excellent, and the kitchen area was complete with kitchen utilities. We are from Darwin and had the air-conditioning on heater the whole duration of our stay. Lol The location was awesome, right in the middle of everything. Close to the wedding venue we attended and walking distance to other amenities we explored. We had a good experience here at Dandenong Central."
