"Nice place to relax and enjoy nature. You can walk, run, do cycling for free of cost. Really nice place to visit if you are from Athlone."
"A great place for a walk, plenty of birdlife, lots of rabbits and the occasional fox. The new fitness park which is just off the trail is a great addition to it."
"Ok for a walk, jog or run. If it's scenery you want this ain't for you"
"Enjoyable cycling, feels mostly safe with no cars to worry about. It's a nice change, from someone who grew up cycling on rural roads in Ireland."
"Lovely walk, especially on a sunny day. The path is shared between cyclists and pedestrians - I personally walked inside the old track because it's gravelly so the cyclists won't ride there. There is so much wildlife (there are also working farms alongside), particularly butterflies. Highly recommended."
