"We had a 2-Night, joint Stag and Hen Party in Killary Adventure Company with approximately 30 guests and it was the best weekend of our lives. First and foremost the staff were incredibly accommodating, from handling the booking process, to going above and beyond their duties throughout the weekend, to their excellent leadership during the activities, we couldn't have asked for more. Our guests raved about their accommodation, the beds were some of the comfiest I'd ever slept in and the hot showers were truly a "warm" welcome, but what our guests complimented the most was the food, we couldn't believe how delicious our dinner was and we'd absolutely recommend this option to anyone booking. There is a wide range of activities to chose from, we participated in both the High Ropes Challenge and the Turf Warrior Challenge and we are still talking about them, both are incredibly good fun and suitable for people of all abilities but if I was to recommend one activity it would have to be the Turf Warrior Challenge, I would do it again in a heartbeat!!! Each night we were taxied from the Activity Centre to either Leenaun Village or Westport and brought home again safely to the Centre when ready, it was so nice not to have to arrange this service ourselves and gave us great peace of mind throughout the night knowing that we would be well looked after. Overall Killary Adventure Company surpassed all our expectations and I would recommend them to anyone considering a Stag, Hen, or STEN Party!"

"Hen Party. We hosted our friend's hen party here from April 7-9th 2023 and it exceeded all of our expectations. From start to finish, the staff at Killary went above and beyond to fulfill all of our needs and expectations. We had a gorgeous lounge room reserved for our group for the weekend with a view over the Fjord that we could use for games and drinks etc. We did the turf challenge on Saturday morning which was so well organised and great fun for all the group. All of our meals were provided and the food was excellent and catered to all dietary requirements. Killary organised a bus to take us out to the pubs/clubs in Westport town on Saturday night and back to Killary at whatever times suited us. Sunday morning, we rented their gorgeous sauna for recovery sauna and swim. Special shout out to Zoe, who went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable weekend. Don't think twice about booking a Hen Party or group weekend here."

"We visited here for a fun-filled day out whilst in Galway for a few days. We opted for the morning session which included Kayaking and Gorge Walking, and then the afternoon session which was the rock wall and the giant swing. The morning session’s leader was a guy called Ned and he was really brilliant. He chatted to us all and tried to get to know us and make us at ease with the group. We had a full demonstration on how everything works with the kayaks, and then it came to setting off. Unfortunately due to some personal health reasons I was unable to sustain a comfortable position in the kayak and as such had to sit it out which I was gutted about, but Ned was really comforting and tried his best to make it all work before we had to give up. The Gorge Walking came next and I was quite nervous to do it - but BOY am I glad I did! We climbed all the way up the river, going up waterfalls, under trees and into deep pools before working our way back up the bank again. It was the best thing I’ve done in a long time! After a picnic lunch back up at the top of the centre, we headed back down to the climbing area where another guy then left our activities for the afternoon. I wasn’t overly keen on the rock wall (but nervous with heights!), but I did my best. Unfortunately this guy was a lot less attentive and was standing around on his phone a lot. So much so that at one point when I was on the wall and my team mate was b-laying me, I slipped off the wall and as he hadn’t been keeping an eye on the slack of the rope, I fell about 10ft and hit my head on the floor quite hard. He really should’ve been watching to make sure everything was being run correctly - after all we aren’t professionals and that’s his job. This in my opinion is completely unacceptable and really knocked my confidence doing the activity, meaning I didn’t do it again for the whole time we were there. The giant swing was great - very scary and super exciting. We each had two goes."

"Excellent camp for teenagers. The staff are all very experienced and brilliant with the kids . It was my daughter's second year back. They are kept busy doing different activities all during the day and only allowed their phones for 1 hour after dinner . Really would highly recommend for your teenagers ."
