"Elverys is a bit of an amazing story. It is actually Ireland’s oldest sports shop, founded in 1847 (not this actual shop but the first in the chain). As recently as 1998 it was taken over by Staunton’s Sports and since then went from 1 shop to 50 shops nationwide. So it’s a big chain and seems pretty successful. Certainly this Ballina branch gets a lot of praise both for product quality and choice and also for professional and helpful staff."
"Iv shopped in here regular and it's not just the quality of the stock that gets me back but the staff in this store are very professional, helpful and obliging. They will do anything to assist you. They treat kids with the same respect and patience as they do the paying adults. If what your looking for is not in stock they'll even check online or in the nearest store for you.
