"An amazing location with beautiful views of the sea. Staff were a little bit slow but very friendly. Very extensive and affordable bar menu. My partner and I had mussels, oysters and chips. The fish was very fresh, beautifully presented and the chips were out of this world. Would highly recommend this gem of a restaurant"
"My husband and I had a lovely dinner in the Towers this evening, almost by accident.....Actually, it was pretty exceptional. We are working our way through a family bereavement and took a drive to Westport...and found ourselves looking for a bite before we headed home. Wonderful staff, lovely food with the most magical view (courtesy of a most gracious and kind waitress) of Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay at sunset..thank you everyone in the Towers......your kindness tonight is appreciated more than you might ever know♡"
"St Stephens day, delighted to find a pet friendly place for lunch. Staff were great, friendly, attentive & great with our dog, even brought him water, little things like that will ensure a return visit. Chicken Burger was delicious & quick. We live an hour away but will definetly be back soon."
"Been here on several occasions in the past months. After my first 2 experiences, wasn't keen to go back but my friends said they want to try it out. Well, same experience every single time: slow service, servers more busy behind the bar chatting away than to look after guests and when they do it, no joy of doing so. Starters ALWAYS very good. However, mains were on ALL occasions a big failure. Is like a different chef is cooking the mains (probably that's the case?). Pity, as the location is simply out of this world, lovely design, lovely starters, but all fade away as soon as mains are out. Fish and Chips were soaked in oil and over cooked. My 8oz Burger was very dry with little sauce on it to balance it out. We ordered 2 teas and got a huge tea pot with 1 tea bag inside and lots of water. We skipped desserts and went elsewhere to enjoy something sweet. Probably lack of management presence on the floor really "pays the price". Won't be returning very soon,I'm afraid. I hope the place will take my kind of review and make the changes they badly need to become what should be. My advice: focus on customer service and food quality (mains particularly) and this place can be top of the list."
