"We arrived in Westport late and were looking for something other than bar food. This place is great! The service was impeccable and everything we ordered was vibrant and delicious. We had the prawn biryani, lamb curry and the daal. It was full of flavor and paired with some hot fresh garlic naan it was just what we were craving after the drive from Dublin."
"I ordered a large meal for take out, for three people. When the order was made I was notified that it would take 90 minutes. This was fine as it was New Year's Eve. My friend picked up the order and it was already 20 minutes late at this point. The order was completely wrong, and had no receipt attached to it. Also, the food was cold and not at all what we ordered. I took the food back, and I had to re-order everything. When I went in to replace the incorrect order, I discovered there was only one person managing the front of house. This one person was looking after all take out orders and every table in the restaurant. The management are completely to blame here. There were constant calls with incorrect orders, and people waiting two hours for their order. From the time of ordering, it took almost three hours to sit down and eat. No offer of compensation for all of the mistakes, such as a simple free drink. My criticism of The Everest is not directed at the unfortunate person over worked, but at the terrible management and their organisation for an evening like this."
"Best food ever. Biryani was moist instead of the usual dry which helped a lot. Flavors were good, as we spice levels. Service was fast and they actually checked back to make sure that all was well. The restrooms are clean and well stocked which is always a sign of caring."
"Very nice Nepalese restaurant in Westport town. Food was really good, and service was quick. The restaurant is in an old church which has now been converted to the restaurant. We had the mixed biryani, Nepalese chicken curry and aloo Sabzi starter, and everything was really good. Overall, lovely atmosphere and food."
