"I stayed here last year and it suited us well. Great location and big room. Unfortunately no towels and no one around to ask for any (ad it’s self service check in), but we had some with us so that was okay."
"Had booked this to cycle the Greenway. My partner ended up having to go to A&E and I contacted the bike shop and accom to try to reschedule as it was clear we couldn't travel two days later. I contacted both from the hospital, the bike shop had no issues, the hotel didn't contact me back until the day of the booking and said it was ok to rebook, provided no way to organise this. I sent them two emails to arrange to reschedule and they never bothered even replying. So we ended up just doing the cycle a few weeks ago and coming home after. Thanks to Paddy and Nelly's Bikes, not so much this hotel who have no idea how Customer Service works(no replies on Bookings.. no reply to my follow up emails)."
"Me and my partner booked in for 2 night in August and we were so happy to get away and when we arrived at the location no one was there . When we looked to find someone to check in we couldn't find anyone but a man appeared from a caravan assuranceing that our booking was paid for, so we went to our room and what a sight wee met .Dead flies and spiders every where .No towels,No toilet roll no nothing. And the bed wee will not go there .I lost £173.69 . For a place you wouldnt want to stay ."
"Below average! It was a bit unexpected for an area that is so beautiful and amazing this accommodation was a bad surprise. Remote location, above a ghost like pub with a sign on the door that said funeral services and old things it felt like a location that doesn't welcome you. The room was clean and tidy but just that. You get what you pay for. The big surprise was in the morning when we wanted to serve the breakfast and had a huge surprise to find some leftovers from the people that were also guests. So, if you don t get up early to eat first... you don t get anything. We found some bread, jam, cheddar slices cheese, expired yogurt and not even butter( in Ireland), a bit of milk and no orange juice. Huge difference from the reviews on booking and here. Huge difference from anywhere and anything I experienced in Ireland. Huge disappointment! P. S The owner answered to this post after more than a year and the explanation was at least hilarious. You can see it and judge it by yourself. Usually I don't respond to replies bu this time I had to do it. Mister Marty, your comments that the clean room was what we paid for are mean and shows the lack of consideration for your establishment and guests. A clean room is something that is not even discussed about, it s known from the beginning as being an essential partial of a service like yours. I mentioned it because it was the only thing notable in that moment there! You said that we didn't ask or opted for your breakfast? It was included. I will attach my reservation from booking.com to prove that but you didn't supply it and now you are calling me a liar. It s your right to write and reply back but the difference between us is that I can prove all that I m saying and you, unfortunately, are just ironic (with your guests) about the miscalculation . And from today I will reduce my rating from 2 stars to 1."
"Dishonest business. Booked two double bed room from booking.com for one night as we were 4. They gave me 1 room of 4 beds and told other is not available. Totally customer harrasment. Didn't cancel the booking of other room. Didn't inform before checking. And didn't pay back as well. They told manager will meet in the morning. But no one was there in the morning check out time."
