About the Business
Welcome to Vincents Curiosity Shop, located in County Galway, Ireland. Our establishment is not just your ordinary store, but a point of interest where you can find unique and intriguing items that will spark your curiosity.
At Vincents Curiosity Shop, we believe that in difficult times, it is important to offer confidential support to those in need. Our dedicated members are here to lend a helping hand and provide the assistance you may require.
But it's not just about receiving support – we also encourage you to give back. Your time and skills can make a real difference in the lives of people who are facing challenges. By joining our team, you can contribute to those in need and make a huge impact.
Working for social justice is one of the key pillars of our mission at Vincents Curiosity Shop. We strive for an Ireland without poverty, where everyone has access to their basic needs and can live with dignity. Through the experience of our members on the ground, we turn concern into action and advocate for more just social and economic policies.
In these uncertain times, the burden of back-to-school costs feels heavier than ever for many families. We understand the struggles and are here to support. Our volunteers are currently working with a family of five – a father and four children. The father, who works as a labourer, is doing his best to provide for his family, but the pandemic has made it even more challenging.
Imagine the panic that sets in when you wake up to the sound of breaking windows and the frightened cries of children. It's a terrifying situation that no one should have to experience. But unfortunately, it happens. At Vincents Curiosity Shop, we aim to alleviate such hardships and provide comfort and support to those who need it most.
Robbie, a father, lies in the dark with his head in his hands. He longs for sleep, but the worries and responsibilities keep him awake. As a father, he wants the best for his family, but circumstances have made it difficult. We strive to offer a helping hand to individuals like Robbie and work towards creating a better future for them.
If you're interested in learning more about our institution or getting involved, please visit us at our National Office located at SVP House, 91-92 Sean MacDermott Street, Dublin 1, Ireland, D01 WV38. Together, we can make a difference and create a more inclusive and compassionate society.

"Great place and staff friendly"
"it's gone so dear and many people over the years was able to make their money go so much now. it's a euro less than a retails shops. it's second hand stuff and it's like you need a visa card to go into the shops. really the people that are running the place should remind what the shop was about and how it's for."
"Excellent charity shop, second hand clothes furniture and bric a brac"
"Good attention!"
