"I've been frequenting Speedy's Bar for many years and the welcome never fails. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The bar is clean but it has a rustic and functional feel that you get in a rural pub! They serve a variety of beers but I highly recommend the Guinness! It is always a good pint here and has a head all the ways to the bottom!"

"Head to Speedy's Bar down the road and they'll sort you out when arriving at Nolan's B&B, sort of like a detached reception. Everyone was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Room mostly nice, with a big bathroom and a very soft bed, but a slightly unfinished feel to it (cupboard still full of building materials). I imagine this'll be fixed up soon enough, and the newness and cleanliness of the place was undeniable. The provided WiFi details didn't work and we had no tea & coffee making facilities in the room, which was the only major let-down -- but I suspect the owner could have fixed this for us if we hadn't been so knackered we went straight to sleep. Would recommend asking on arrival if you're going to need these things. Location is a small town with various amenities and good access to neighbouring Listowel. We ducked out this way from the Wild Atlantic Way to avoid staying in Tarbert, and found Nolan's to be a good one-night stop. Solid breakfast the following morning, with friendly service."
