Our room was really comfortable with great attention to detail. Breakfast was wonderful, freshly prepared with excellent choice. The bar was also very comfortable with a good drink choice and cozy open fires. We will definitely be back."
"The hotel is well maintained & decorated beautifully. The staff are all very friendly & accommodating. Bedrooms are quirky but very comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend having dinner there however, the food is very old fashioned, quite bland and expensive. Nice selection for breakfast including a porridge & whiskey bar."
"Popped in today for food. We live locally. Carvery often gets bad press, this carvery is excellent! Roast beef was succulent tasty and lean which is my preference. Gravy was so tasty and the roasties and veg plentiful!!! The veg actually tasted like they should not soapy as I've found in other places. Staff were attentive friendly and unobtrusive. Really enjoyed it, will be returning soon!!!"
