"Our stay at The Tower Hotel was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I couldn't say a bad word about the hotel or the staff. The hotel and rooms were spotless and so comfortable. The staff were so helpful, pleasant to deal with, and absolutely friendly. From the receptionists, to the bar/restaurant staff and the pool staff I honestly couldn't but praise them. The location was central and they have a free hotel car park. Our stay was great value for money. Breakfast runs until 11:30am which I felt was a great plus as the breakfast room was never packed at the time you go down so there was never a line waiting for a table like other hotels. At breakfast the buffet was alway full and they had a great selection to choose from. There was live music in the bar by night which was also an added bonus. The food was outstanding in the bar and restaurant and the the portion sizes were big so you would not be leaving the table hungry. We most definitely will be back soon and I would highly recommend The Tower Hotel to anyone."

"Stayed here for 1 night recently. Made the decision to stay here based 3 aspects: Ideal location in the centre of Waterford City. Newly renovated rooms & the leisure centre expecting the jacuzzi, steam room and plunge pool. Staff in the bar/restaurant were extremely friendly and accommodating. Was expecting a bit more from the renovation as the hallways to the rooms seemed a bit hammered despite the new carpet and what seemed to be skirtings and door frames. The room itself was comfortable, exactly what is needed for a night away but yet doesn’t seem as polished a job of a newly renovated room. The biggest disappointment was the leisure centre. We came expecting the jacuzzi, steam room and plunge pool to find out this has been removed. Picked the hotel based on this as I have been here before when it was operational. We settled for a few minutes in the pool. Overall was a nice stay and would recommend it to someone coming to Waterford for a break away or night out."

"The decor and room were very nice. Room very comfortable and stocked with toiletries and coffee. Not much of a river view from window. Nice pub area for drinks and a meal. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Eggs not very hot and hard to get toast delivered. Hotel in a very central spot."

"Every member of staff I encountered from check in to check out went above and beyond to help me. I was attending my best friends funeral and flew into Waterford on my own the day before Christmas eve. I don't know if the staff were aware of the reason for my visit as my friends funeral had been in the news but I did not feel alone once I had arrived. I received so much compassion and care from the hotel. It really helped me get through my trip and do what I needed to do. I am forever grateful for the amazing people that are employed at the Tower Hotel."

"Stayed for 2 nights. Great location, easy to get to and free parking. Easy walk into city centre. Hotel room slightly shabby, significant condensation on windows and could do with a freshen up but did not affect the comfort of our stay. Room was very clean and beds very comfortable. Excellent shower, water pressure was brilliant and bathroom nice and warm. The room was also very warm and comfortable despite outside temperatures of -1. Staff everywhere were pleasant and efficient. The breakfast buffet was nice, offered choice of hot and cold items (although porridge was not great, no texture at all and no taste). We ate in the bar for one night and the food was only ok. Pasta was slightly mushy and vegetables overdone and sauce bland. We used the pool every day, which was fantastic. Very clean, excellent changing facilities, water was warm (30degrees) and staff pleasant and helpful. We would stay again but would eat elsewhere in the evening."
