"Overall a nice place to get away to! _Pros: Great location, with a good parking, outside and underground. Awesome breakfast selection. Excellent mix of Irish and international staff all very attentive, especially Tomas and James at the bar, both were so helpful. I loved the pool and sauna. _Negatives: I found the bar cold. The carpets need renovation for my taste. ;)"
"As a 13 year old i want to write a honest review . i loves how nice the staff was and how nice and clean the place was but me and my family’s room was like in between, the beds were uncomfortable , there are random stains on the carpet , the thing when u flush the thing was broken . the rooms need to be cleaned properly . The cleaners do a fantastic job at cleaning but try to replace the carpets and mattresses . Now the food , i don’t like how there isn’t a lot of options , i was hoping for a bigger and better option. the restaurant needs more options. the bar had fantastic choice of foods , more desserts need to be added and a drink list . i really like how there’s free breakfast in the mornings , they need more food options for the morning though. not everyone likes what’s there on the menu or the food for free. and at last the pool. the staff is lovely but they’re real strict with the rules. it’s not letting us kids be free and having fun in a pool. Like some of us get it , yous are looking out for us kids and trying to keep us safe but the no jumping rule or diving in rule . please switch up the rules for us kids to have more fun in pools. I want to thank all the staff for being super kind and nice"
"Wow!! What a surprise this hotel was. Excellent service from making our reservation at the beginning to vacating our rooms at the end. Nothing was too big or too little to request. The personal service we received was fantastic. Extremely polite, mannerly, well trained staff. In fact Yvonne went above and beyond. Rooms were beautiful, airy and spacious. Food really good. Delicious flavours and choices on offer. The leisure centre was extremely well maintained plus very high safety & hygiene standards. The underground parking was a gem as you went straight from room to car in the morning of checkout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Killeshin Hotel. We are already planning our return visit. Well done all involved. We can only recommend 5☆"
"We had a one night stay recently. We were disappointed overall with our room on arrival. It was quite outdated, and really basic. Most of the drawers didn’t open, the tv remote didn’t work(Sorted out later by reception), bathroom wasn’t very clean(hairs under the shower mat, and side of bath). But the bed was comfortable. We went for dinner downstairs, only the bar was open. A lot of guests seemed to be disappointed by this, as the bar was extremely casual. There was a pretty poor selection for food. There was a choice of five mains in total. I didn’t particularly like any of them, so just chose a starter and a side. Unfortunately we felt that we weren’t able to sit at our table and have a couple of drinks after ‘dinner’, as there were so many people coming into the bar, for a sit down meal. We didn’t want to occupy a table just for drinks. I have stayed in The Killeshin multiple times before, and this is not how I remember it. I don’t like leaving a negative review for any establishment, as the staff we encountered were really lovely. But after all it’s a genuine review of what we experienced, and paid for."
"Lovely room, very comfortable bed. Great choice on the dinner menu. Breakfast was delicious, something for everyone from cereal and fruit , pastries or a full Irish breakfast. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and efficient. Would highly recommend."
