"We always go here as a family as we love Japanese food. With three small kids in tow, sometimes we can be messy and noisy but the staff are always lovely. One time that my husband had to bring my boy to dance class, the staff offered to keep his food in the oven to keep it warm while we were waiting for him. They are always nice and kind. We keep coming back! Food is perfect as well. We love the Akayu Ramen!"

"Love it here, 5 stars all around. Warm friendly service, staff always helpful and welcoming. Food is always prompt, fresh, delicious and beautifully served. Highly recommend, I did not think I would like sushi because I thought it was all fish but there are sushi options without fish too, theres other items on the menu as well like ramen, rice dishes and loads more! It is good value for money the portions are very generous in house or for takeaway. Atmosphere is excellent also, beautifully decorated with nice lighting and comfortable seating. One of our favorites in Portlaoise! :)"
