"The food was lovely, fresh and hot, my niece threw a tantrum and was pulling out of her mother who is in a wheelchair we were there to help but the staff just stood there looking, I was annoyed over that I understand it can come as a shock but have some decency to even ask can we help is there anything I can do for you? I was also trying to help my sister, carry a baby car seat and carry a tray with our food on it. Only my mother was there to stay with my baby so I could manage everything else it would have been disastrous!!! So I would recommend that your staff get trained up in customer service skills because it was outrages they didn't even offer to help me. So next time we do decide to visit portlaoise and we go to supermacs I would hope your staff have better customer service skills. I for one work in retail and deli so I know it is common courtesy to help someone who is in need !! Its all with the customer experience of how a business can thrive or fall. The premises was very clean and maintained. The seating was well spread out."

"This supermacs has been in Portlaoise since I can remember, mid 90's, in the exact same location with very few changes, apart from papa johns, supersub, drive thru and delivery service on site. There used to be an arcade & amusements in this building, how times change. We are frequent customers here, whether it's drive thru or dine in, we like to tip in and grab something to eat, usually when there's no time to cook, or when we're on the road. The cheapest meal would be between 9 and 10 euro which is not too bad, only thing, the portion sizes are not that big, but they are nice, and some really good selections."
