"very busy when we visited food was good staff were under pressure pints of Guinness were lovely. tried the islands edge stout won't be getting another all in all a very good restaurant. we sat outside and there were a few lads fairly loud hard when you have kids but there was no badness will definitely be back again the only thing that was wrong with the food was the portion size was a bit small"
"Excellent Thai menu! We've eaten here a number of times and it's honestly got the best quality Thai food around. We've had the pad Thai, green curry and Thai chilli fries and all were absolutely top class. It's a decent size Thai menu that runs from 1500. Unfortunately we've also tried the standard menu and it was fairly rough. Basic carvery effort or even more basic burger and chips. I ordered the chicken burger and it was topped with one bit of soggy lettuce and a massive lump of raw red onion. Standard food rough, but I'll 100% be back for the Thai menu. Also decent pints, quick service and child friendly."
"Had a family meal this evening and very disappointed with my meal @€16.95, fish was 50% batter and tasteless, chips were around a handful, peas were cold my sons and daughters food also not up to scratch ...have dined here a number of times without complaint ,standard has dropped dramatically .definitely the last time I set foot in this place ....better option was the takeaway next door which will get my order next time 100%."

"Found this place quite by accident when looking for somewhere near Portlaoise Hospital to eat. What a surprise, from the warm atmosphere to the amazing food with a very extensive selection, I could not find fault. In fact, I look forward to my next trip there, will definitely come back to share the experience (and the food) with friends. Prices also reasonable compared to other places these days."
