"I had a room booked months ago and it was cancelled with a week's notice. No doubt it was sold for a higher price. I now have to find alternative accommodation at short notice, none seems to be available."
"Wouldn't class this as an hotel. More like a dorm. Shabby rooms very stark but clean. Very noisy as to ongoing work at doors woke up by noise. Plus side good breakfast.. Wouldn't stay again €67.50 get what you pay."
"I put one star as there wasn't an option to choose none, right from the first moment we were a party of 3 and were talking and asked to be quiet entering the hotel and told to leave reception. The man was old and on his phone be that with there is no excuse for rudeness also he also had no mask on. In fairness the guy on reception was very nice. We then went to a really dated room, shocked as I've had better experience in a cheap hostel. Dated interior, filthy curtains and the smell in room was disgusting. Please don't stay here, I think and not completely sure but hotel might be used by homeless, whilst Im not bothered about this I think a hotel that we spent money on should be a hotel or just a hotel for homeless, not both. Also we were sitting in our room having a chat and night porter knocked on our door to be quiet we didn't even have telly on ridiculous were on a break. Plus we are not teenagers we are women in our 50s and 60s. Ennis is a fab town just choose a better hotel."
"As said before... staff were 10/10 and its a hotel with a very friendly (almost B&B) personal touch. Found the rooms great and the power showers were amazing. Breakfast was fab and the owner/manager an absolute gent and so helpful..."
"Staff 10/10. Nothing on them. The breakfast was really good too. Lots of variety. The rooms do not look much like the pictures. I know it's only 3 stars but the state of the room was a bit disappointing. Our sink looked punched in by someone, the toilet paper dispenser was the kind of dispenser you get in pubs....with the really thin toilet paper, not even a "normal supermarket" toilet paper. The double beds were really disappointing. It's two single beds put together with a sheet on top and really uncomfortable. The two beds were different firm-ness, just uncomfortable. The place was clean at least to be fair, just wish a little things like the sink and the toilet paper dispenser and just in general, it would make the place feel like "oh at least it's being looked after". It was passable for a night I guess, just not impressed any way"
