"Great experience here, food is top class, hotel and rooms are clean. Personable service from all staff is excellent. Dropped a star for the price of drink in the bar, it may be a sign of the times but it is expensive. Otherwise cannot fault this hotel and would recommend staying here."

"Just back from a Wonderful Stay at Hotel Woodstock. You could not meet more friendly caring staff. Nothing was an issue and every expectation managed. The lay out the pool and friendly staff as well as affordable price makes this the perfect location for taking the kids away for a break! For day trippers you are about 20 minutes from Lahinch and a few kilometers further you will find the Cliffs of Moher! I can not speak enough praise of this hotel."

"Liked · Very nice, large bathroom with plenty of space for 2 people to get ready. Bed was very comfy and spacious. Beautiful facility in general with pool, hot tub, gym. Views of the golf course for our room were lovely Disliked · It was incredibly difficult for us to get food from the hotel during our stay. When we walked in the front doors of the hotel to check in, we walked right into a wedding reception being hosted in the lobby. We saw the restaurant next door and asked at the front desk for information but were told we weren't allowed to go there as it's for golf club members only and told we could go order food at the bar across the hall. We then went to the bar and they were unable to get us food due to the wedding party. We went to our room and read in the binder that we could get room service 24/7 and could place a card on our door to have breakfast delivered in the morning. We called to order room service and were told someone would come to our room to take our order, they then also told us they do not provide breakfast room service. About 10 minutes later we got a call to the room saying they are not doing room service that day. So we decided to go at least try the vending machines, as we walked to them downstairs we see that they are out of order. A staff member could clearly see we were upset and said their restaurant will be open and ready by 6:00 and to make a reservation at the front desk. We did this and found a corner of the bar to wait in. At 6:00 we went to find a closed restaurant where a different staff member came to tell us they didn't open until 6:30. We finally we're able to get seated and order after 6:30. It was a pretty disappointing experience."

"Turf fire burning in the reception area creates a warm welcome and that lovely turf fire smell as you enter the hotel. Good pool facilities with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Delicious breakfast with a wide buffet selection. Very reasonably priced"
