"Gorgeous Bagel with delicious scrambled eggs. My parents take me here whenever I come home to visit as they are regulars and I see why! Welcoming staff, bright interior and good food."

"This was our second time at the peppermill. It's rare I leave negative reviews but the staff and food were not so great. As we walked in we could tell the staff were stressed and at times they came across as impolite. We were asked to wait while the staff rushed sternly behind the counter. We both ordered the full Irish breakfast and sat upstairs. I thought we were accidentally served a mini breakfast as you can see from the photos, its not actually a full Irish breakfast. No beans, mushrooms or tomatoes which was very disappointing. The black pudding was dry and the bread was hard to swallow. As someone who has worked in kitchen's before, I could tell the tables hadn't been sprayed or cleaned. When we tried to move to another table we found drink and crumbs smeared across it, so went back to our original table. When the food arrived we were only given one set of cutlery and had to ask for another fork and knife. I was also given Ireland's smallest cup of coffee with the breakfast. Unfortunately I would not recommend the Peppermill if you're looking for breakfast in Ennis. Especially as there are many other decent options to choose from."

"Had breakfast here. Ordered the full Irish with a soft egg. I received a response of "ya" reiterated the soft egg and received a nod of the head. Sat upstairs. Breakfast arrived. Egg hard. Toast cold no butter. Had to go foraging on other tables for butter and ketchup. Tea arrived. Mentioned the egg to a waitress whi seemed bewildered by the whole thing and neither offered a remedy or returned with a soft egg. No sugar for the tea. Went foraging again. Otherwise it was fine. Rest of the food was nice"

"Upgrading to 3 Stars as had a nice carvery there today, and be be fair it was nice as are the staff. Previously had breakfast here, pancakes out of a packet, similar to the pre made ones you would buy in the supermarket."
