"A good dining experience. I ordered a chicken and ham dinner with a Coke Zero. Plenty of gravy and stuffing. The mash was fluffy and the vegetables were to my taste. The booth was comfy. The staff were friendly. I was seated straight away. My order was delivered quickly. The food was hot. Free tap water too. In and out in about 30 minutes. Good value for proper food."
"Service is extremely poor. Staff were very rude to us as well as numerous people today. Staff were under quite a bit of pressure but were aggravated easily. Morale in the place has dropped significantly the past year. Food is satiating as always."
"Have eaten here for as long as I can remember, The Sherwood was our go to place for the dinner back when I was but a wee lad some 40 years ago and we would eat here any time we traveled to Ennis for a day shopping. I still try to call in when around, which is unfortunately not as often as I'd like any more. Can not fault the food or the service. If you go at lunch time be prepared to wait in line, but you won't be disappointed."
