"I was in St. Ailbe's yesterday and today to collect my sons school books and tracksuit. I have 2 other children in there too. Abiding by the Covid 19 guidelines there is a restriction on the numbers allowed in to the school and the collections are being catered for in the sports hall which allows plenty of space to maintain social distancing and safety. There are hand sanitising stations placed inside the entrance and hall and a oneway system so there is a separate side door to exit. The staff to help with collections are all wearing face masks and keep safe distances while taking care of new students and explaining school reopening procedures. There was a delay with the tracksuit delivery but the school went out of their way to have these specially delivered to the school for the students. The company dealing with fittings etc were also wearing masks but were still very polite, friendly and helpful. Top marks to the staff, principal, vice principal, teachers, caretakers etc the school being kitted out at the moment to make it safe for the students return and the staff doing everything they can to ease the transition for the students to help with adapting to these new health and safety changes."
