"An amazing trip with an amazing company to Kilimanjaro. From the moment we stepped off the plane to waving goodbye at the end of our adventure, the professionalism and friendly approach demonstrated by the Pat Falvey team was astounding. Our Irish guide, John O'Shea, ensured that everything moved seamlessly. His relaxed attitude combined with an excellent attention to detail guaranteed that no stone was left unturned to ensure the success of the trip to the summit. The local guides and porters were outstanding. Their experience, competence and cordial nature catered for everyone in the group. How they were able to carry those heavy loads each day and still manage to have a smile on their faces was a marvel to everyone in the group. Finally, critical to the success of the climb was the way in which everyone bonded and looked after each other during the trip. We would definitely recommend Pat Falvey tours to anyone considering Kili or any other worldwide or Irish hiking adventure. We are already planning our next trip with Pat and his team."
"Thank you Pat, for your most interesting and entertaining hospitality - you have created a special place at your Mountain Lodge. Had a great day with John patiently leading me up Carrauntoohil and back - I was not sure I could do it and delighted I did it in such good company and expertise - highly recommended"
"I was lucky to have the opportunity to hike Carrauntoohil with Pat himself a couple of years back, fantastic day out and was glad to have Pat's professional guidance as there are a couple of slightly hairy spots - Recommended!"
"A group of us (age range 24-70) did the Mountain Skills course with Pat in September which was fantastic. All of us were beginner level and learnt how to navigate, map read and use a compass competently. Leadership and group management sessions were also included. Accommodation in the Mountain lodge was quality, clean and very scenic. Make sure to look at all memorabilia from various expeditions."
"Delighted with the support from Pat Falvey Walking and Adventure Centre on today's climb of Carrauntohil. Weather conditions were challenging but my 2 adult kids and I felt completely safe. Our guide, John, gave good instruction, went at a pace that suited us all, gave lots of information and advice about alternative hikes of and around the mountain. John taught us a lot and we're all keen to continue mountaineering."
