"Definitely worth calling in if you're travelling the N71, near Bonane. We're out of season travellers, so it was very quiet, combined with some fairly heavy Irish drizzle - probably not helping either - but fab time to visit !!! Great story about the Irish way of life, individual determination in the most dire of situations and very much a living museum, with livestock etc. The little cottage holds only a small part of this remarkable story. Although a bit of a walk up, it's well worth walking round the farm yard, see the film in a warm, watertight barn, and then there's quite a substantial gift/craft shop. A little cafe, toilets etc. Massive of unrestricted parking. And .... you're asked for a donation on the way out, which we thought was brilliant."
"Great place to visit. We randomly was driving by and came upon this gem. It's a 200 year old cottage you can walk around, a shop selling handmade items, then there's also the farm you can wander around. It's a few euros to go round the farm and honestly it's brilliant. There's an audio film at the beginning about Molly and her farm that's playing on a loop, then you can wander round the farm (about 15 minute walk). There's ducks, chickens, a pig, lambs, cow and donkeys. The animals are so friendly, especially the lambs. Well worth a visit. There's also a duckpond, ruins, a viewpoint and an orchard. There's also toilets outdoors at the back of the shop and free parking in a lay-by across the road. Really enjoyed this place."
"Excellent experience. 100% worth seeing it. Started with old farmhouse, a video and a farm area to walk around. The bathroom were spotless. Plenty of parking. The animals roam free, they are so healthy and well looked after. Great gift shop. Owners were so friendly. Love it"
"My friend and I loved walking the grounds and learning about Molly and her "Mountain Dew". The view is beautiful as well. Super helpful owner and workers. I also had their homemade apple crumble and ice-cream with tea. They even let us feed the lambs."
"This is a "must see" for anyone who is passing by the area! We passed by on our way into the Kerry ring. The whole center is an amazing insight to the life of poor people before and during the famine of 1845. The gentleman that runs it was extremely nice to us and very polite in every way! The gift shop was also amazing, full of traditional products (and some touristic products). Overall it was a delightful experience!"
