"Exceptionally clean and we'll looked after. The essentials such as tea, coffee, cereal, bread etc are there. It's a bit pricey but I guess considering the location, you are paying for much more than just a room for a few nights."

"Beautiful clean and quiet place to stay. Breakfast was great and there's plenty of facilities for cooking and eating. Mind you, the nearby Bank House bar covered all our food and drink needs. Always a good crowd there. Surprisingly plenty to do on the small island. Old gun batteries from when the French navy threatened support for the Irish rebels and even a WWI seaplane base - a very interesting history. Good spots for swimming and kayaks for rent in Bantry. Perfect for a couple of days' stay and exploration. The hosts Tim and Kathleen were very welcoming and looked after us well. looking forward to the next visit."

"Absolutely fabulous place to stay, beautiful large spacious and spotlessly clean rooms and tiolet/showers. Great food in the Bank House. Kathleen and Tim go out of there way to accommodate the best they can. Really enjoyed our stay,and would definitely recommend it. Lovely walks around the Island too."
