"Very nice riding place, I went with my wife and kids, we rode for 1 hour and the route is just gorgeous. We really enjoyed the ride. We are not skilled but there was no problem with that. The owner is a very kind person and was taking care of us. There was also another person helping, not bad for a group of 4. I really recommend this place as a family activity!"
"I have horses at home but being on holiday for over a week, I was really missing them. While starting the Ring of Kerry, I saw a sign for beach rides. I called and Ger answered immediately. He was able to accommodate my husband and I by adding us to a ride staring in 45 minutes. We headed over and had a great experience. We were outfitted with proper gear and given very nice mounts to ride. The horses are well behaved and well cared for. We even had a chance to canter on the beach. The ride and Ger and the horses far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend!!!"
"Our holiday home was located between Waterville and Caherdaniel, so a good 1 hour drive to Rossbeigh Beach Horse Riding Centre. Nevertheless, we went there 3 times (!) during our holidays, and here‘s why: First and foremost: Ger and his family do care! With every horse carefully selected for you, you will get detailed instructions on the 'specifics‘ of the given horse, such as: has a very soft mouth, likes this or that other horse, wants to be first in line, avoid gaps to the horse in front etc. The horses we‘ve got were all good horses and behaved very well. Essentially, just keep the reins loose and let them run on 'auto-pilot' (almost), whilst enjoying the surrounding. Which brings me to the second point: Nature. The sea, the beach, the surrounding mountains, the dunes - simply stunning! What a beautiful spot on earth! And experiencing this beauty on the back of a horse makes it even more breathtaking. We will certainly keep that feeling in our hearts forever! Thank you so much for this privilege and joy we‘ve been given!"
"Wow… there should be a six star rating for this incredibly beautiful experience; a truly magical ride on perfectly trained horses with Ger leading us on an action packed two hour ride over nine miles, mainly on the beach ( a small farm track to & from the stables.) The views were spectacular and there was plenty of opportunity to canter with lovely long empty stretches of beach after beach. Perfect for experienced riders or beginners as Ger tailors the ride according to ability. We rode Ginger & Tango; both very comfortable to ride as they listened well; they were relaxed & calm but energetic; they enjoyed stretching their legs, splashing through the water & giving us a wonderful experience. Thank you Ger for your lovely Irish hospitality"
"We had an amazing time on the 2 hour ride. We walked up through the mountain and cantered along the beach - amazing scenery throughout! The horses are so well behaved and in great condition. You can tell that they are pets by how great they look - not like some trekking centres. Highly recommend. If you walk from Glenbeigh (where bus drops off) there is a fairy forest en route that is worth a stroll around."
