"Mary is a great host. She was knowledgeable of the location and provided helpful hiking advises. Located along the Kerry's way, Lough Acoose house is the perfect stop for hikers. The place was cozy, nice and very clean. Recommended."
"Wonderful spot right along the Kerry Way. Mary was kind and helpful with our hike. Space was beautiful and comfortable. Highly recommend paying extra for the dinner, it was delicious. Breakfast was also delightful."
"We had a very nice stay at Lough Acoose House, we got a homemade dinner, great breakfast and a nice room with a fireplace and everything you need after a day of hiking!"
"A very nice B&B with good breakfast and very tasty dinner. The room was a bit cold and the mattress a bit older. But there was a large lounge with a fireplace that was regularly lit by the owners. The damp clothes can only be dried outside the rooms. If it's still raining, the clothes will unfortunately remain damp. The owners were really very nice and took care of the shuttle of our luggage, recommended a pleasant hiking trail and picked us up from the previous accommodation. All in all we were very satisfied with this accommodation and can recommend it."
"Mary and Mike were warm and welcoming. Of all the bed and breakfasts stayed at during my Ring of Kerry trip, this place was my favorite. I appreciated the delicious home cooked meal, the warm fire in the evening and thoughtful touches for hikers such as newspaper to dry your shoes. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was slow and not functional at times, but sometimes for a getaway being disconnected is what you really need."
