"Rare microbrew pub in Ireland on the Dingle peninsula. Just 10 minutes from Dingle town. They even have a cask ale for you English folks! Excellent back patio for groups, or private little nooks for quieter conversations out of the rain. The inside is comfortable and roomy with tons of character."

"Had a wonderful time on holiday at the West Kerry Brewery. Tours were not available as the season had not started, but was able to have a flight of three quintessentially Irish microbrews. We tried the golden ale, the dark ale, and the stout. (Having tried the headliner Blue Rose at Out of The Blue in Dingle the night before) the golden ale is crisp with a good level of maltiness and perfectly carbonated. The dark ale is a refreshing treat, well balanced with good body. The stout was smooth with just a hint of sweetness, a grand escape from the quotidian Guinness. The ambiance was rustic with a hardwood interior and fireplace: a homey pub with the feel of a rural hunting lodge. 3 cats roamed the premises and were welcome additions to our table. Reasonable prices for perfectly brewed ales with a hyperlocal and homey feel."

"Beautiful brewery with friendly folks. The back patio with the sun shining was a highlight of our entire trip. Delicious beer, we even brought the porter back to San Diego. Absolute must stop on the Slea Head Drive or a little getaway from Dingle."

"Amazing pub, totally worth going off the beaten track. Some of the best beer in Ireland (the porter- Oh My God...! Forget Guinness and drink this!) and a uniquely unspoiled and authentic traditional pub. The locals even speak the Irish language. We camped on the beach nearby and it was stunning. The owner, Adrienne, is a national treasure! She made us feel really welcome and gave us some great tips about the area. If you are near Dingle this is a MUST VISIT!!"
