"A pleasant encounter is The Marina Market by Port of Cork. Varied cuisine served from regular to vegan to halal options. Also, something for the health fanatics. Plentiful of seating, simply pretty toilet, a tidy spot of books away from the adults for the kids and adults separate space. The only downside is its a decent 15-20 min walk from the city centre, depending on where you're coming from. Dont be daunted by the quiet roads that lead to the market. Thats because you're walking along the pier, and its away from the beaten path. Its safe though so nothing to fear. If you're driving there's ample parking."

"Wide selection of foods cuisines takeaways. Or dine in comfort, with plenty of spaces seating, toilets. Some fantastic looking stalls. I had the Burritos fast service very filling and reasonable priced value for money. There is talk of this place closing if it do go ahead what a big loss to the City and the Economy."

"One of Corks hidden gems, a lively and vibrant market with loads of local vendors and amazing food. There is loads of seating available and parking is good too. Spectacular location down the marina, shame Cork City council don't improve the location considering the amount of foot traffic and visitors that go here. It's the nearest thing to Camden market in Cork city."

"Brilliant market with huge number of food outlets. You can get anything from pizza and pasta to hot and spicy chicken strips or a fabulous egg and bacon roll, there is messy buns or doughnuts and specialty coffee plus much much more. This place has really come alive over the last few years. Great buzz and amazing food. Plenty of parking at the quay side."

"Epic huge Market on a Saturday. Set in the old Ford factory it's huge! With two main room, one with loads of stalls from vintage clothing to jewelry to sports equipment. The other has tons of food stalls with such a vast selection it serves every pallet! The DJ with the 30 foot big screen background was my favorite."
