"It was really a wonderful stay. Room, bathroom, breakfast area, all are well maintained. The living space on 1st floor is so big and nicely decorated, which is just like a beautiful lounge area with a sea view and a telescope. Host Michael is very kind person, his hospitality was great, so the sumptuous breakfast. I personally would like to stay here again, if I ever plan to visit cobh."
"Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Great location with a harbor view. Michael is a lovely host, and super knowledgeable, having been in business for 28 years. Breakfast is included, of cereal, toast, and a full Irish breakfast. There is a lovely sitting room with tea, coffee, and biscuits and a fridge for guests. There is even a telescope for viewing the harbor. Beds were very comfortable. We’ll definitely be back."
"My first time staying at this B&B, but not my first time in Cobh. I've stayed at all the hotels - Commodore, Bella Vista, Watersedge - but this B&B wins against them all, hands down! Michael is the host, and is the most helpful, caring, genuine host I have met. He really couldn't do more for us. We had room 3, second floor with a sea view. It would accommodate 4 in a double bed and two singles and an ensuite. Beds were very comfy. TV in the room. The room is really bright and the views are just perfect. Breakfast is 8.30 - 9.30am every day and you get cereal, juice, toast, tea/coffee and a fried breakfast. If there is anything you want to change, just let Michael know in advance. I asked for any dairy free milks which Micheal didn't have, and even though I said it wasn't an issue, by day two, Michael had bought some dairy free milk for me. There is a TV room on the first floor where you can make tea/coffee, there's a fridge, table, sofa, and a day telescope! Car parking outside is chargeable. It's free for the first hour, then a euro per hour after, to a max of 3 hours. Then you have to move. The chargeable parking times are 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday. Evenings and Sundays are free. My recommendation would be to park at the Heritage Centre (locally called the Five Foot Way Car Park). It's totally free and a 3 minute walk from the B&B. It's safe enough as it's used alot by overnight camper vans. We used the B&B as a base while we toured around so we didn't spend much time there during the day but I would imagine that it's very quiet. I absolutely recommend this B&B and will definitely be back!"
"I stayed two nights with a friend. The place is beautiful and very clean. The TV room have a lovely view on the ocean. The hosts are really friendly ! The breakfast is nice and complete. I truly recommended it !"
"Stayed there on Thursday night 4/7/2019 and once again we were greeted like members of the family. Great location at the entrance to the town, and plenty on street parking allowing you to park overnight till 10am with an add on of a free first hour taking the stress out after your journey. Michael and his wife are very welcoming and great sea views are from front bedrooms. Good hearty breakfast will send you happily on your way."
