"Truly a favorite! We loved staying here SOO MUCH! Do not hesitate: Book now!! We set up our reservation over email. Eileen was so welcoming and kind, made our later check in a breeze. Excellent room: The best of our trip. Great view of the water from the master bedroom. Shared bathroom was very easy (just with another couple of rooms). This whole B&B was insanely clean (!!!) and so well kept. She's lived in the house for decades and it's so lovingly decorated and just a wonderful place to spend time. Excellent breakfast, wonderful location. Easy walk or pop in the car for a minute into Cobh. I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. Probably our favorite B&B of the whole trip. Just note that if you don't pay via Paypal ahead of time, it's cash only (her daughter manages the Paypal)."

"While I was a bit guarded about there being a shared bathroom for the room I was in, it was a non-issue in practice and was more than offset by the atmosphere and historic decor of the house and rooms (and omg the garden). Despite the age of the historic house, everything was spotless and well-kept, the shared bathroom modern. You can feel that for the host the house, garden and being a good host are a work of love in every detail and I immediately felt very welcome and at home. Would recommend without reservations."
