"Apr 2023 Had the pleasure of staying in the Hights hotel in April. We upgraded to one of the new premium rooms, and were not disappointed. Fridge, tea coffee facilities in room. Walkin shower. We only had B&B, a big shout out to Leen in the restaurant. Every morning, she had our well-done Bacon ready after our first day. (it's the little things that make the difference) All the restaurant staff were lovely and helpful over our 4 days. Yes, I would recommend and would stay again. Note there are two types of rooms, premium (just renovated) and standard. Read less"
"Myself and my husband stayed here on the 4th of April 2023,the room was lovely apart from the door handle was loose and the window would not close properly, but the disappointing part for me was the food, our evening meal had been reheated and we could tell it had been cooked a long time before it was served to us,we had the turkey and ham meal, the meat and potatoes were dry and hard, especially the potatoes. It was our wedding anniversary the same night, so it ruined the evening. The breakfast was not very hot and not a great standard either. When brought to the managers attention the following morning, I was left feeling very annoyed , as he just kept saying that there is no way the food could have been reheated as that would never happen at their hotel, so I just left to head home and was glad to be out of there, a very bad experience at a place that is ment to put customers first."
"Excellent hotel when you want to kick off your "Ring of Kerry" route/tour. This place has ample parking space, the rooms are lovely, comfy, clean and has all the necessary: (Coffee/tea station, fridge, iron, extra blanket, TV, free WiFi, etc). The hotel has a lovely bar, with good food (chef is Malaysian), the service is quick and friendly."
"We had such a beautiful night at the Killarney Heights hotel. The staff couldn't do enough for us and the food was gorgeous. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel and everything was perfect. Rooms are very bright clean and spacious. Will absolutely be back to stay."
"We chose to stay here because it has easy access to the ring of Kerry. Rooms were a little outdated and very warm. Even when we turned off both radiators we still had to open the window to be comfortable enough to sleep. Food was good. The cocktails were delicious even though the bartender was very flustered by us asking for cocktails."
