"I cannot recommend Simon and Caroline highly enough at lake. I took my very stressy cat, heathcliff, in today for a diabetes check. Not only is he highly strung but I am as well when it comes to him! They were calm, patient, professional and reassuring in everything they did, to both myself and heathcliff. Caroline was so good with heathcliff that he almost fell asleep while having bloods taken. Simon was firm yet gentle and reassuring which heathcliff needed. They talked me through my options, explaining in a way a non clinical person would understand. Thank you for everything!"
"Service has taken a nose dive over last 3-4 years. Constant appointment issues and medication errors, Poor pet care from inexperienced vets. Their explanation was Covid and Brexit meant they couldn't get good staff, basically an admission of poor service but happy to charge sky high rates for it. It feels very money driven as it is a national group, so big profit is the focus rather than good pet care. Changed to a different independent vet and the difference was night and day. Brilliant service and care, significantly lower fees which really showed up Pet Doctors."

"Staff need to work on their manners, particularly Rachael. Just because someone has a foreign accent, does not make them an ‘immigrant’, or neglectful of their pet. The Covid rules weren’t really properly applied and when I asked staff about all the dirt I could see they just shrugged and said ‘cleaners are furloughed’...I could go on"
"Very friendly staff and great vets sorted my sidney out straight away with injections and pills after being bitten up ventnor downs had a bad allergic reaction to sting and cam out in big bumps on head was really worried but they saw him straight away even though we were not registered.
