Reviews
"Great location with easy parking. Our bedroom was a little small, but was clean and adequately equipped. Plenty of plug sockets, hangers in wardrobe and complimentary toiletries. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was spot on. Only reason we didn't give five stars was due to food not being available during the day but understand this is a seasonal thing. We visited in January."
"Visited here a while back for a drink. Staff was friendly and approachable. Didnt stay long as felt like it was more of an older gentlemans pub with the out of date decor. Which also made the place very dark. Atmosphere was quiet."
"Popped in for a couple after work, was a bit quiet, but was a week day, disappointed they don't do food, But seems the cheapest pint in the area"
"Stayed for 2 nights for the wifes birthday phoned on the Wednesday and provisionally booked the room confirmed on Friday morning, got upgraded at no extra cost. Great hosts back to basics but if you want friendly accommodation and a good old laugh then this is for you . If you want bells and whistles go to the hilton or the ritz. 5 stars all day"
"Stayed in the Victoria Room 10th Sept. 22. Too warm for comfort. Overlooks the main road so too noisy to leave window open. En-suite included the smallest shower I’ve ever seen. No room for a cat, let alone swing it. Sorry, but wouldn’t stay again."
