"Bunch of us visited after a walk. Good selection of beers plus coffee and hot chocolate for the non drinkers. Excellent bowl of chips too. Other diners having lunch looked good. Good and friendly service. Can't score rooms as only in pub."
"Was okay had a burger and it came out raw in the middle I didn't get asked how the meal was once served as under staffed understood this then said about my burger at the end and got told this is how they come. I did not get asked how I would like it cooked. The lady that served us was lovely and got it taken of the bill. Would return here"

"We visited for a roast dinner and it was more than we could anticipate. The service was slow but the manager was on top of it during this very busy period. We had the roast beef which was cooked perfectly and came with a huge yorkshire pudding and a great assortment of veg. All very tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pudding was very good too. It was a little pricey but for the quality and amount it was spot on. I would go again and recommend going. Id like to also try the normal menu."
