"Chef a little disappointed that 3 of our group were only having a drink the other 7 were eating and meat was very poor quality beef and lamb unable to eat as so tough. Don't think we'll return."
"Best steak pie fresh veg and creamy mash I've had in a long time eating out. The meat was tender and full of flavour the service was excellent..highly recommended visit to The Ship And Bell Horndean."
"Could do with a bit more beer on selection but a good pub. Nice atmosphere and free pool and darts"
"Thought we would have a good pub lunch on 26th November. It was so bad we paid for our drink and left. There was nothing on the menu on the website. the only "meal" which included salmon was unavailable. The "menu" was on a piece of very old parchment probably been around for over month or more which was so limited; perhaps a bun with salad but little more. Maybe some chips. There was one member of staff who seemed very stressed, didn't smile or welcome us and made us feel we were a nuiscance just being there. I had sent an email to book the date and time but had no response so had to ring to confirm on Friday evening. Why do pubs have emails but don't always respond? For a Fuller's Pub we could not believe how awful it was. We ended up going to The Hampshire Hog only a few miles away in Clanfield. Another Fuller's pub and of a high standard we have come to expect. Dissapointing is an understatement. I didn't want to give it one star but had to. Judith"
"Went there for a Tangerine Tantrum gig which was great. Had 2 pints of Stowford cider as well. Nice!"
