"Absolutely appalling service. After forgetting to order one of our chairs and then damaging the sofa on delivery, it’s been a year since we had it delivered and this is still not sorted. Sofology have ordered the wrong parts 3 times and each time we have had to take time off of (self employed) work to be at home, only for the repair not to take place. We’ve lost a huge amount of money! I would strongly recommend you think twice about buying from this company."

"please be very aware that communications with this company are very poor. if you are an older person and dont have internet or web its virtually impossible. My mother has had huge problems. They will send no reply emails to you... no telephone number for the shop you purchased from.... and when you use the generic telephone number you will get message like you are number 24 in the queue. After getting a text to arrange delivery.... hold on the phone number.... 24 in line.... and wait and wait and at the end of it.... its not in and to call back a few days later after its its been scanned. Wow ! .... how useless can sofology be. Why dont you get more phones... more staff and get your calls answered !!! its not rocket science. if we are no 24 waiting on the telephone doesnt show that you need to stop trying to force everyone onto the web."

"AVOID LIKE THE VIRAL PLAGUE! We ordered TWO sofas over 14 months ago (28th June 2021 to be precise!) & paid in full. Despite being told that delivery would be between 4-6 weeks, Only one has arrived. The ‘Occasional Love Seat’ some 9 months late. It is not big enough for my husband & I to sit on together, so ironically we have to rotate sitting one on the floor whilst the other uses the sofa. After a few months of use, I am really disappointed with the quality of the one sofa that’s arrived. The arms are coming loose & fabric has started to fray. Not really what Helena Bonham Carter puts forward in her TV advert, whilst eating cake! However, The second sofa we ordered (at exactly the same time) has never arrived! We have tried calling customer service to be given conflicting information as to where our lost sofa is! (In fact at one point, we were not even allowed to call customer service! It had an automated message saying “They would call us!”) If I could cancel the whole thing & go somewhere else, I would! We were told in store that sofas were manufactured in the UK, even through we now know they are outsourced to China! Terrible Company, Terrible Customer Service & Terrible Quality! £1000’s spent & nothing to show for it. Seriously considering litigation to recover our money! As my title suggests, AVOID!"

"Be aware of quality issues as you probably won’t receive the same quality of sofa as you see in store. We ordered the Vittorio range 2.5 seat sofa and requested the same model and colour as displayed in Sofology Reading store back in 2019, however, the quality difference between the received sofa and the display sofa is quite shocking. The pictures below cannot justify the details unless you can inspect in person (Pictures 1, 3, 5 are display sofa; 2, 4 and 6 are our sofa). The main issues are: 1) the leather for the display sofa has much better quality than the leather used for our sofa. Our leather seems loose and saggy as it is supposed to be new, nice and tight. This is shocking as the sofa we received is brand new and sofa displayed in the store is more than four years old (The helpful sales staff told us). 2) the sofa arm-rest is totally different compared to what we saw in the store. The lower part on the store sofa is thin and smart and all the leather of the sofa is shining but our sofa handle looks dull, bulky and loose. There are some other issues and we have more pictures to provide. We contacted customs service and they told us that this is normal and no different. Obviously the sofa is not damaged, so we are not qualified to return the sofa."
